I was tried to find penguin at St. Kilda, but I can't see those penguin clearly, because of dark. At the end, my boyfriend took me to Phillip Island. Of course who knows it, Phillip Island is really famous with its penguin parade at sunset.

Internet become my boyfriend best friend. He jumped at the internet to find what else that we can see at Phillip Island. After he found out, we went to Phillip Island in Sunday. He said, put the warm clothes, because it will be windy. Since we went to Phillip Island at autumn, and the wind was really cold.

Here it is, my post about Australian food. To makes it clear, not all the food that you've tried in Australia is a genuine food from Australia. But, you can find these kind of food at Australia. Don't worry, I also give you the genuine food from Australia. So if one day you are planning to have holiday at this land down under, maybe you can find these food around.

Lolly is how they call candy here. Why it is different. First, the shape. Australian lolly's shape is magic. Like this chewy candy called chico. Shapes like human, and taste like chocolate bar, but chewy. For me the taste is strange.

Then they have banana lolly. Shape and color like banana, but sweet like bubble gum, and soft and melt inside your mouth. This one is my favorite. Beside that, you can also find the killer phytons. A looong lolly and colorfull. Milk bottle, racing car, red frog, snakes, etc.

You can find them sell in one shape per pack, or try to find the party mix pack. Which you can find them all in one pack.

Another lolly that you can find here. But this one is not really come from here, called LIQUORICE. Maybe some of you already know it.

Do you know this delicious chocolate biscuit? This Tim Tam is come from Australia. What makes it different than other Tim Tam that we found in our shops? Their range of flavors. Beside dark chocolate, white chocolate, double coat, and chewy caramel, in Australia you also can find Messina salted caramel and vanilla, Mesinna black forst, Messina Choc mint, and Messina choconut and lychee. How to get it? Easy, just come at coles or woolworths.

This famous jam is already part of Australian identity. My boyfriend said every man who was born and grew up at Australia must be like Vegemite. If you not try this before, I suggest you not to put lots of  this jam at your toast.

Because the bitterness of the taste, and also salty. So for the beginner, just pust a small amount at your toast.

Made from yeast extract for making wine, this vegemite is really healthy. It rich of vitamins B. Even it's salty, but it just consist of 3.45% sodium and no sugar, fat, or any animal content. It also have halal certificate. You can find all around Australia, and with many sizes.

What makes this pie is different is the size of the pie that smaller than any fruit pie we have seen at television. And inside they feel it with meat,yes, meat. Beef, chicken,pork, kangaroo, you choose. Because the size is smaller, it' easy to bring it everywhere.

It also sells everywhere. From supermarket until bakery shop. This meat pie have been the must have pien in every bakery at Australia. They also have the mini size of this pie, it call party pie,fit to be serve at party.

This pie good for quick lunch, and cook with tomato or barbecue sauce. The safest way to eat it by open the upper crust, because when it's hot, the meat inside is boiling. So open the top crust help it getting colder.

Just like any popular food in Australia, you can find this Aussie pie at supermarket around. Just look at the frozen food isle.

What is the differences between our normal burger with Aussie burger? The filling. If burger that we knew always fill with meat, cheese, and sometimes vegetables, Aussie burger's filling is more unique. beside meat, cheese, and vegetables, they also put beetroots and sunnyside egg, plus sometimes they also add pinapple. The meat is also 100% the best Aussie meat. If you come to Aussie, don't forget to try this burger.

You can find this burger everywhere. Maccas, Hungry Jack, or another restaurant. Try the burger at Grill'd, their burgers are awesome. The nearest Grill'd of course at Colin St. Melbourne.

The base of this cake is sponge cake. The differences is at the middle of the cake, they put vanilla cream, and dipped it into chocolate, and sprinkled it with coconut shreds. Soft, sweet, and really makes you want more. This is one of my favorite food here. This food can find in every parties or occations. and also you can find it at the nearest supermarkets.

Since it made from sponge cake, it is so soft, so it is not a best food to be a gift for your friend or family. It easy to destroyer. But if you want to try it, don't forget to see the expired date.

You can easily made this fairy bread. Take the toast, put a butter and sprinkle it with colorful sprinkle. The more you add sprinkle, the better. Then cut it to be triangle shape. They said, this fairy bread is Aussie's children favorite. Could be because of the sprinkle.

Don't have a time to make it? Just buy it, all supermarkets in Aussie have their own product of this fairy bread. And don't forget, they also have fairy bread ice cream.

This sweet biscuit is made from wheat and coconut. It was the biscuit that sent to Australian army at war by their wifes at World War I. The name, Anzac is taken from Australian and News Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC).

Today, they produced this biscuit in a huge amount, like other commercial biscuits, and can be found at any supermarkets in Australia too. And this biscuit become one of the thing for charity, the fund that has been gathered from buying this biscuit goes too RSA (Royal New Zealand Returned Service's Association) and RSL (Returned and Service League of Australia). 

No connection with Boston city, America, this one also popular in Australia. I really love this cake. With raisins mix at the batter, and the icing with coconut shreds, I can finish this bun by my self only in one day. 

I usually find this cake at Coles supermarket and only AUD4-8. You put this cake as a snack, or your friend to watch movie at home. Too bad, this cake is not long lasting. The longest time is two days, and the cake will be hard, and the icing melt.

Like chinese roll, the inspiration of Chiko roll indeed a chicken Chinese roll. This was a popular food in Australia. It is bigger, thicker and fuller than the chicken Chinese roll. 

For me eat one of this already makes me full, and can't finished it more than two. The full thing inside it really really makes you have no regret eating it. Even the name chiko taken from chicken, and inspired by chicken, but the meat is not chicken but lamb. 

Soft and crispy based meringue, with fresh fruit topping, pavlova is the idol of dessert in Australia. Taken from one of the famous Russian ballerina that visited New Zealand. The baker created this.

Really sweet and soft, this dessert is really good with the fruit topping and of course add a white wine. Perfect!!

They said it is easy to make this dessert, but, once again, if you have no time, just buy it at the nearest supermarket.

Lot of my friends asked me, can you eat kangaroo meat? The answer, yes, it can. Australian supermarkets also sells this meat. Just calm, even you can see the kangaroo at the zoo, it doesn't mean its population is endangered. The wild kangaroo population in Australia is the biggest population. Some even said it population even bigger than human in Australia.

What is the meat taste? Knowing they have lots of muscles, I thought it will be hard to bite the meat. Apparently, it is like eating chicken meat, even the fiber is look a like chicken. The taste is as same as if you eat chicken liver. How to cook? Just grill it, or friend it, or do anything you usually do with your meat.

Twiggy is one of my favorite sausages in Australia. They also sells hot twiggy. And you don't have to cook it, just eat it and it is delicious. Made it a snack for your self or at party.

The Australian supermarket always have the Australian snack, one of them also this Neenish tart. Shape like mini pie, fill with cream icing sugar and strawberry jam, and at the top cover it with dried icing sugar. Usually it combine with two different color. Chocolate and white or pink.

This chocolate is produce by Cadburry, shaped like frog. at inside you can feel the berry jam. Delicious? Sure. This chocolate actually made for kid, you can have three pieces for AUD 1. you can considered it as a gift too.

Even this chocolate is actually Australian made, but you can find this chocolate in England too, because the cadburry is a company from England.

Chiken Parmigiana or my boyfriend like to say "chicken parma" actually not real Australian food, but in Australia, this food is always at the restaurant menu. Fried chicken fillet, and topped with tomato sauce, chips, and salad become one. This kind of chicken parma is a kind that you can always find here.

If you want to try to make it, it is easy, but maybe took a little more time at cooking the chicken. Of just go to restaurant, or if you in the budget, you can find the microwave's chicken parma at the frozen isle in the supermarket. Put it at the microwave for 5 minutes, and it served.

Strange food name, is at Australia. One of them is Golden Gaytime. This ice cream is one of the bestest ice cream from street, or walls (what it call in your country? tell me at the comment). The combination of toffee and vanilla at the middle, then dipped at the chocolate and sprinkled with biscuit crumb, perfect!!

Beside stick, they also have the cone shape. But for me, the stick one is still the best. Because what makes this ice cream delicious is the joy of tasting the mix of vanilla, toffee, chocolate, and bread crumbs in one bite. While the cone,after bite the chocolate and crumb at the top, then you just can feel the vanilla.

If you go to KFC Australia, don't forget to order Golden Gaytime Krusher. This is one of the most delicious drink at KFC. LOL

Beside Tim Tam, Milo once an Australian product. But now you can find it everywhere. It's not a mistake if you want to try Australian Milo :)

Even it said ginger beer, there is no alcohol at all in this drink. It is 100% alcohol free. This coda drink made from fermented yeast and ginger. Refreshing. Different with any other ginger drink that served hot, this drink is better served cold. Best ginger beer product in Australia? Of course Bundaberg product.

There you go, the food (and drink) that I found at Australia. Some maybe not a real Australian food, some Australian food already well known in other countries. But while you are in Australia and not taste these foods, why not. What foods in this list that you have tried? Tell me :)

Before I moved to Melbourne, I attended a beauty class by my friend. She is a good MUA and lots of people already acknowledge her beautiful result. She know trying to make her ability bigger at Jakarta & Samarinda. this is her instagram account, if you want to know her result. She actually my childhood friend. But not because she is my childhood friend I came to her class free. And her class also a private class. I payed her for having the class. Hey, as a friend should be support whatever their friends try to achieve.

Since this was a private class, I got a free snack too, and also certificate. Too bad, the certificate can't be used at Melbourne. But, eventually, I am able to do a make up for myself.

So she knew that I am not really good knowing about cosmetics. She really teach me from the beginning. What should apply first before makeup, how to do a blend, etc. At that time I even didn't know what Primer is. She really putting her time to gave me more knowledge about cosmetics.

And it worked. It made me want to have more than I have. Of course I didn't have primer, finish spray, or anything outside powder, lipstick, and eyeliner. Since I had no time before I moved to Melbourne. I though I would buy cosmetics at Melbourne.

When I already at Melbourne, I browsed some website that sells cosmetics here. Too bad, not much Korean cosmetics website at Melbourne. I found one, and they ship directly from Korea. You can see their website HERE.  But since the shipping fee is too much, and I had not enough money left, so I tried to find the australian cosmetic website. Then I found AUSTRALIS COSMETICS. I decided to order from this cosmetics company, beside it is cheaper, it also save.

The Australian cosmetics product is sells in a cheap range. It really fit for us who doesn't have much money for buying American or European cosmetics. Established at 1987, their cosmetics range are huge. Lately they had a cosmetic range that based on Korean cosmetic. Don't be afraid to use their product. Because this is a local Australian product, that is why the price is not that expensive. And also they are animal free and vegan friendly.

The cosmetics and product who is cruelty free usually put the bunny logo at their website. In Australia it self, the campaign to stop the cruelty to the animal already there since 2016 by Choose Cruelty Free (CCF). This organisation have a  list  of Australian product that cruelty free. And, then they also had logo to be put at every producers that already at their list.

This Australis cosmetics, not just only sells trough online. They also have some retails partners if you want to buy them offline. The thing that really difficult for me is when I want to buy online, they charged me a shipping fee. If you bought online from  their website, you have to buy minimum AUD70 to get free shipping fee. Or if you want to buy from priceline, free shipping fee start if you buy minimum AUD100.
Sometimes it's better to buy offline. No shipping fee. But the other problem when I decided to buy offline. Some of the retail partner is not retail for cosmetics only, they sells huge range of things. Sometimes the thing that we want at online is not available at offline. Since we didn't know that the priceline pharmacy near our house also sell cosmetics (we thought they just a small priceline that their goods not complete), I decided to bought it online.
